So the real purpose of my last Tokyo trip in February 2023 wasn't actually Disney. It was to meet up with another friend~ It had been almost 8 years since our last Misawa Reunion ♡
잘2023년 2월의 도쿄여행은 디즈니 가기 위한 여행이 아니라, 다른 친구를 만나러 갔었어요. 8년만에 다 모일 수 있있어서, 작은 친목회 했어요~♡
It's called a Misawa reunion because us three (girls) met up in Misawa, Japan way back in early 2006. Truly childhood friends~ We definitely went through awkward phases together 🙃
우리 여자 3명은 2006년에 미사와라는 일본 아오모리현에 있는 작은 시골에서 처음 만나, 지금까지 친하게 지내고 있어요~ 완전 옛날 친구♡ 같이 이상한 짓 많이 했지 ㅋㅋ
After having gone to Tokyo three times in six months for the Sailor Moon Museum back in 2022, I told myself that I would take a break. It's just too much to be going so often...but then something came up and I found myself having to go back up in February of 2023. Since I was already making the trip, I figured that I'd make the best of my time and do something I really wanted to do: a trip to Disney ♡
세일러 문 뮤지엄 위해서 6개월 사이에 도쿄 3번 갔잖아요. 돈 너무 많이 썼으니깐, 좀 쉬자 했는데...일이 생겨서 2월에 또 가게 되었어요 이왕 가는 거, 재밌게 놀기로 했어요. 너무나 가고 싶었던 디즈니갔다왔어요~ ♡

I honestly loved the artwork for the café. It was simple and honestly so cute~
개인적으로 카페 포스터가 너무 마음에 들었어요. 심플하면서 너무 귀여웠어요 😍
Like I said, I was going to every volume of the Sailor Moon Museum, so 3 months later, I made my way to Tokyo again for the Sailor Moon Museum Volume 2♡
제가 말한 대로 진짜로 3기 다 가기로 마음 먹고, 1기가고 3개월 뒤, 세일러문 뮤지엄 2기를 위해서 다시 도쿄로 갔어요♡
Volume 2 was from September 10th to November 6th.
2기는 9월10일부터 11월6일이었어요.
First of all, Happy 2023! I honestly wanted to make blogging a regular thing, and I was super committed for that month...then life got in the way again, and here we are all these months later. I have a lot of things I want to do, so I really need to catch up on my drafts before I'm able to move on. It's been over a year since this happened, so I figured that this was the best place to start my many overdue posts~
2023년이 반 넘었는데 이제 인사하게 되네요. 저번에 말한 것처럼 블로그를 더 자주 쓰고 싶었는데, 여러가시 바빠지면서 이렇게 늦어졌네요ㅠㅠ 하고 싶은 거 많은데 아직 안 쓴 글이 너무 많아서 못 하고 있어요. 오늘에 글은 작년에 갔던 이벤튼데, 여기서 시작하는게 제일 좋을 거 같아서, 여기부터 씁니다~ ㅋㅋ
In celebration of Sailor Moon's 30th anniversary, there was a Sailor Moon Museum in Tokyo♡ It was divided into three volumes, and you know that I had to go to all of them.
세일러문의 30주년을 위해 도쿄에 세일러문 뮤지엄이 생겼어요♡ 3기에 나눠서 진행했었는데, 당연히 다 가야했죠~
Volume 1 was from July 1st to September 4th.
1기는 7월1부터 9월 4일까지였어요.
When we found out that there was a Harry Potter themed cafe in Seoul, we new we had to go!
서울에 해리포터 카페가 있다는 걸 알고 안 갈 수는 없었어요.
I lived in England in the early 2000s, and so, I'm from a time when I would wait for the book releases. You can bet that I would count down the days for those books. You can imagine how big of a fan I am.
제가 2000년대 초반에 영국에 살았어요. 해리포터 책을 나오는거를 기다렸던 시기가 있었죠. 그만큼 팬이에요.
While I didn't do much, I of course did a little shopping while in Korea. In particular, I had a little Hongdae day ♡
많이는 못했지만 한국에서 쇼핑을 조금 했어요. 하루는 홍대에서 하루종일 보냈어요~♡
The baby bro wanted to get come unique souvenirs for his girlfriend and roommates. I figured that since they were all girls in their early 20s, they would enjoy some cute Kakao Friends goods!
동생이 여자친구랑 룸메 들한테 선물 사고 싶다고 했어요. 다들 20대 초반이라 귀여운거를 좋아할 거 같아서 카카오 스토어를 가자고 했어요.
After a long, long 3+ years, I was able to see my family♡
너무나 긴 3+ 년 끝에, 드디어 가족을 만날 수 있었어요♡
We met up and spent a week together at my aunt's house in Korea!
이모네 집에 일주일 같이 보냈어요.
Now we all know, I love USJ 💕
다들 아실 텐데, 제가 유니버셜 스튜디오 재팬을 너무 좋아해요♡
It had been way too long since my last visit, so back in the spring, I made plans to go.
마지막으로 간 게 너무 오래돼서 오월달에 갔다 왔어요.
I have been to Nagoya quite a few times since moving to Japan. My company is based in Nagoya, so I sometimes go for work seminars and training.
제가 일본으로 온지 거의 3년 되는데, 그동안 나고야를 몇번 갔어요. 회가사 나고야에 있느니깐 세미나나 연수 때문에 가끔 가요.
I've been to Nagoya 3 times and I am still unfamiliar with the place. I don't know the first thing about this city, but I always hear about how nice it is. So back in November, I decided to go on a little Nagoya weekend getaway♡
3번이나 갔는데 아직도 너무 몰라요. 뭐가 있는지, 뭐가 재밌는지...근데 항상 진짜 좋다고 들었어요. 11월에 시간이 좀 있어서 나고야 주말 나들이 하기로 했어요♡
Back in June, I went to Universal Studios Japan with the other English teacher living in the same apartment complex! I went solely for the Sailor Moon show that was said to be ending on June 24 (only to find out that it was extended until September xD)
6월에 같은 아파트에 사는 영어 선생 언니랑 유니버셜 스튜디오 재팬 갔다 왔어요! 6월 24일에 끝났다는 세일러문 어트랙션 보러 갔어요 (근데 확장되서 9월까지 한데요 ㅋㅋ)
I mean, I was planning to go to USJ anyway, but the worry that the Sailor Moon show was ending soon gave me that little push.
원래 언젠가 USJ가 갈려고했는데, 세일러문 어트랙션이 끝났다고 하니깐 '지금 가야겠다' 했어요 ㅋㅋ
