934 King's Cross: Harry Potter Cafe ✨

When we found out that there was a Harry Potter themed cafe in Seoul, we new we had to go!

서울에 해리포터 카페가 있다는 걸 알고 안 갈 수는 없었어요.

I lived in England in the early 2000s, and so, I'm from a time when I would wait for the book releases. You can bet that I would count down the days for those books. You can imagine how big of a fan I am.

제가 2000년대 초반에 영국에 살았어요. 해리포터 책을 나오는거를 기다렸던 시기가 있었죠. 그만큼 팬이에요.

Hongdae Day 🛍

While I didn't do much, I of course did a little shopping while in Korea. In particular, I had a little Hongdae day ♡

많이는 못했지만 한국에서 쇼핑을 조금 했어요. 하루는 홍대에서 하루종일 보냈어요~♡

The baby bro wanted to get come unique souvenirs for his girlfriend and roommates. I figured that since they were all girls in their early 20s, they would enjoy some cute Kakao Friends goods!

동생이 여자친구랑 룸메 들한테 선물 사고 싶다고 했어요. 다들 20대 초반이라 귀여운거를 좋아할 거 같아서 카카오 스토어를 가자고 했어요.

Family Reunion in 🇰🇷

After a long, long 3+ years, I was able to see my family♡

너무나 긴 3+ 년 끝에, 드디어 가족을 만날 수 있었어요♡

We met up and spent a week together at my aunt's house in Korea!

이모네 집에 일주일 같이 보냈어요.

I had planned to have a thorough Chri in Korea Season 2♡ series, just like my Chri in Japan season 2...

크리짱 인 일본 시즌2 처럼, 꼼꼼하게 크리 인 한국 시즌2 ♡글을 올리려고 했는데...

.....but I don't think that's possible. I honestly didn't do enough in Korea to give a day-to-day recount of what happened..

.....근데 불가능 할 거 같아요. 솔직히 한국에 그렇게 뭐 많이 안 해서, 자세하게 글을 못 쓰겠네요..

Travel Prep: Makeup & Accessories

So I fly out tomorrow....and I'm still not fully packed xD I thought I gave up procrastination after graduating college, but I guess it's something that you just can't get rid of.

저 내일 떠나는데...아직도 짐 다 안 쌌어요 ㅠㅠ 아니, 졸업하고 그만 꾸물거리기로 했는데, 생각처럼 안되네요 ㅋㅋ

This is my 2nd time packing for cold weather. It's so hard. All my fall / winter clothes are so out of trend. Everything is so big and heavy. I've been living in CA for 6 years, so my wardrobe mainly consists of spring / summer clothes. I am not prepared for fall / winter in Asia.

추운 날씨를 위해서 준비하는게 2번짼데...너무 어려워요ㅠㅠ 제가 갖고 있는 가을/겨울 옷이 다 너무 오래되고 완전 옛날 스타일이에요 ㅠㅠ 부피가 다 너무 커요 ㅠㅠ 이제 캘리포니아 산지 6년 돼서, 제옷이 다 봄/여름 위주. 아시아에 가을/겨울....전 준비 안됐어요 ㅋㅋ

Travel Prep: Journaling

If you remember from my Comeback post, I mentioned that there might be season 2s of "Chri in Japan / Chri in Korea." Well, it's not "might"! Season 2 are a go! I'll be in Japan from Nov 14 to Nov 28, Korea from Nov 28 to Dec 10~

제 컴백 글을 기억하시면, 제가 어쩌면 "크리짱 인 일본 / 크리 인 한국" 시즌2가 있을 수 있다고 얘기 했잖아요. 어쩌면이 아니라, 진짜로 시즌2가 있을거에요! 11월14일부터 28일까지는 일본, 28일부터 12월10일까지는 한국~

It'll be the first time I travel so far by myself. Usually, I go with my mom, but this year, she went in the summer. I decided to go during the off season to save some money...and for other reasons that will come to light later on xD

제가 혼자서 이렇게 멀리 여행하는 것이 처음이에요. 항상 엄마랑 갔는데, 엄마는 벌써 여름에 한국 갔다 왔어요. 저는 돈 좀 아낄여고 비수기에 가기로했어요....그리고 다른 이유도 있는데, 그건 나중에 얘기 할게요 ㅋㅋ

Van Gogh Inside

Continuing on with my "Chri in Korea" series~

"크리인한국" 시리즈 계속 합니다~

I first saw the ad for the Van Gogh Inside: Festival of Light and Music exhibit while riding on the subway and I was immediately interested. I enjoy going to museums and so I wasn't going to miss the chance to see some Van Gogh works! Festival of Light and Music, doesn't that just sound pretty?

서울 가는 기차에서 반 고흐 인사이드: 빛과 음악의 축제 전시회 광고 처음 보고, 바로 '가고싶다' 생각이 들었어요. 원래 방물관이랑 전시회 가는게 좋하는데, 당연이 반 고흐 전시회 가봐야죠 ;) ㅋ 빛과 음악의 축제, 이거만 들어도 벌써 상상되지 않아요? 얼만아 이뿔지 ㅋㅋ

After weeks of constantly seeing the advertisements, I finally went to Seoul to see this exhibition.

몇 주 동안 계속 광고만 보다가, 드디어 서울로 올라가서, 전시회 봐러갔어요!

And I wasn't disappointed.

전혀 실망 하지 않았어요

Hongdae & Edae Haul

Last week, I decided to go out and explore. No one was home, so instead of just staying in, I went to Hongdae and Edae...and ended up spending so much money ㅠㅠ

저번 주 저 서울 갔다왔습니다~ 아무도 집에 없어서, 혼자 있는데신 홍대랑 이대 가서...돈 진짜 많이 섰어요ㅠㅠ

As both Hongdae (Hongik University) and Edae (Ewha Women's University) are universities, the shopping area is very nice, and targeted towards the younger crowd.

홍대랑 이대는 대학이라, 젊은 사람들이 좋아할만한 가게만 있더라고요.

Hongdae is much livelier at night with a lot of clubs and many live performances.

홍대는 밤에 가야되요! 크럽도 많고, 라이브 공연도 많아요.

Studio Ghibli Collection in Yongsan

A few weeks ago, I went to the Studio Ghibli Collection store in Yongsan. It was so wonderful that I went there twice and I thought it wouldn't be fair not to share it with you all.

크리스마스 전에 용산역 아이파크몰에 있는 도토리 숲에 갔어요. 너무 좋아서 2번 갔다 왔습니다요 ;))
