Misawa Reunion (Feb.14.23)
Saturday, January 27, 2024So the real purpose of my last Tokyo trip in February 2023 wasn't actually Disney. It was to meet up with another friend~ It had been almost 8 years since our last Misawa Reunion ♡
잘2023년 2월의 도쿄여행은 디즈니 가기 위한 여행이 아니라, 다른 친구를 만나러 갔었어요. 8년만에 다 모일 수 있있어서, 작은 친목회 했어요~♡
It's called a Misawa reunion because us three (girls) met up in Misawa, Japan way back in early 2006. Truly childhood friends~ We definitely went through awkward phases together 🙃
우리 여자 3명은 2006년에 미사와라는 일본 아오모리현에 있는 작은 시골에서 처음 만나, 지금까지 친하게 지내고 있어요~ 완전 옛날 친구♡ 같이 이상한 짓 많이 했지 ㅋㅋ
The last reunion was in 2015 in Las Vegas, and since then, we had never been in the same country. Since we were all going to be in Japan, it would have been a waste not to see each other. It was two against one, location-wise, so it just made more sense for me to go up to Tokyo.
셋이 마지막으로 만난게 2015년에 라스베가스 놀러 갔을 때. 그 이후로는 셋이 같은 나라에 있는 적이 없어서 못 만났죠. 근데 이번에 다 일본에 있으니깐 안 만날 수는 없잖아요. 둘은 도쿄에 있고, 나만 떨어져있으니깐, 제가 올라가는게 더 현명해서 제가 또 도쿄로 갔지용 🙃
So Disney was day 2 of the trip, and the reunion was day 3
그래서 그 여행 이틀째는 디즈니 가고. 사흘째는 친구 만나러 💕
I ended up being the one to choose the location, which is pretty obvious. I'm the only one who likes super cutesy things like this~
장소는 제가 정했는데, 보면 알 거에요. 이런 곳은 딱 제 취향이잖아요☺️
We got reservations at the Peanuts Café in Naka Meguro~ It was a cozy little place with a store on the 1st floor, and the café on the 2nd.
나카 메그로에 있는 스누피 카페 예약했어요~ 1층은 소풍 가게, 2층은 카페인 작은 장소였어요.
I loved the interior! It wasn't too overbearing with the Snoopy stuff. Then again, I guess Snoopy isn't that in your face so having a lot wouldn't have been too bad...
인테리어가 너무 귀여웠어요 😍 스누피 곳즈가 너무 많지 않아서 딱 좋았어요. 근데 스누피는 원래 좀 심플하니깐 많았어도 괜찮았었을 거 같애요~
I personally thought we went at the perfect time because they had a Valentine's Day menu, and who else was the main character but Sally 💕 She's my favorite and it's surprisingly hard to find cute things of hers. I think Japan is more into Snoopy than the Peanuts gang...which is the opposite of me.
간 타이밍이 너무 좋았어요~ 딱 발렌타인 이벤트 중이었는데, 주인공은 제 최애, 셀리였잖아요💕 일본은 스누피 엄청 좋아하는데, 왠지 셀리 굿즈는 정말 찾기 어려워요 ㅠㅠ 저랑 반대로, 일본에서는 스누피만 인기있어요.

이 디텔일 좀 보세요~ 냅킨까지 이렇게 귀여웠어요 💕
Though I wanted everything on the menu, I kept strong and chose the main dessert only.
발렌타인 메뉴에 있는 거 다 원했는데, 잘 참고 하나만 골랐어요.
I got the Peanuts Girls Love Carbonara for my main, then the special Sally's Love Letter Cake for dessert💌. The food was better than I expected! I mean, you can never really go wrong with carbonara
메인은 피너츠 걸스 러브 까르보나라로 했고, 디저트는 셀리 러브레터 케이크로 💌 음식은 생각보다 맛있었어요. 까르보나라는 항상 마시잖아요~
The dessert was sooooooo cuteeee😍 I loved it so much! The colors and the design were so simple but so nice~ I honestly can't even remember what it tasted like😅 I was only there for the aesthetics
디저트는 너~~~~~~무 귀여웠어요😍 진짜 너무 잘 만들었어요. 색깔이랑 디자인이 심플했는데 진짜 잘 나왔어요. 솔직히 맛은 기억도 안나요😅 이저는 오직 이쁨에 집중했어요
After talking a whole bunch, we ventured out to Shibuya to take some purikura~
한참 얘기하고 나왔어요. 거기서 스티커 사진 찍으러 시부야로 갔어요.
It has been a while since I've done this with more than two people, but I was so much fun~ Again the photoshop was crazy, so everyone came out looking super dolly pretty ✨️
진짜 오랜만에 두 명 이상으로 찍었는데, 재밌었어요~ 역시 뽀샵이 예술이에요, 다 진짜로 인형처럼 나왔어요✨️
It was a good end to the day, and to my trip overall~
이 하루 그리고 도쿄 여행 전체가 너무 좋게 끝났어요.
But I decided that I really need to take a break from going to Tokyo. I went 4 times between July 2022 and February 2023...that's more than the last 4 years combined! I told myself that there wouldn't be another Tokyo trip in 2023...but who knows what will happen in 2024😉
근데 이 여행 이후에 진짜 도쿄 가는거를 좀 그만해야겠다라고 생각했어요. 2022년 7월부터 2023년 2월 사이에 4번 갔어요... 지난 4년보다 더 간 거에요! 그 때는 2023년에 또 안 가겠다고 결심했는데, 2024년에는 어떨지 아직 몰라요😉
