FT Island Concert in Los Angeles

I usually don't go to concerts, even if I really like the performer, because I don't have anyone to go with ㅠㅠ So when a Kpop group comes to town, I just watch the fancams and read the accounts online. When I saw the announcement of FTHX in LA on my Facebook timeline a few months ago, I just let out a sigh and kept on scrolling.

같이 갈 사람이 없어서 콘서트를 자주 가지 않아 ㅠㅠ. 내가 좋아하는 한국 가수가 온다고 해도 그냥 다음 날 팬캠이나 기사잀으는 펀이에요. 그래서 에프티 아일랜드가 미국콘서트 한다고 들었을때 별 생각, 관심이 없었음. 어짜피 안 갈 꺼니깐...

FT Island was the group that got me into Kpop way back in 2007. I had been living in Japan at the time and I just happened to see their debut music video. I fell head-over-heels for the handsome vocalist, Lee Hongki ♡

사실, 에프티 아일랜드는 나한테 되게 소중한 가수! 에프티 아일랜드땜에 지금 이렇게 한국음악을 좋아하게됬어요. 2007에 우연히 티비보다가 "사랑앓이" 뮤비를 보게됬는데.. 그 순간, 잘 생긴 홍기오빠 매력에 폭 빠졌지요~♡

Anyway, I had no plans of going to FTHX. I actually forgot about it...until the day before. One of my friends announced in our group chat that she had a few free tickets for the concerts and whoever wanted to go should contact her. What had happened was she had a friend who knew someone working at the concert and she was able to hook my friend up. I actually didn't see that message because I was in class, but another friend asked if I wanted to go. How can I say no to a free concert?

아까 말하다 싶히, 전 에프티 아일랜드 콘서트 갈 생각이 없었었음. 솔직히 말하면, 콘서트가 있다는 사실을 잊어버렸어요 ㅋㅋ. 근데, 콘서트 전 날, 친구 한 명이 카톡 그룹채트에서 콘서트 가고 싶은 사람있냐고 물었어요. 친구에 칠구가 아는 분이 FnC에 일한다고, 티켓 몇개 받았다고 얘기 하더라구... 따른 친구가 "같이 갈까?" 묻길레 가면 재밌을 거 같다는 생각이 들었어요. 공짠데 어떻게 거부해요?! ㅋㅋㅋ
