It's been a month since Thanksgiving, but I finally got around to writing about my family vacation in Las Vegas.
After waking up early in the morning on the 28th of November, we set out on our long delayed family vacation. We were on the road for about 4.5 hours before we arrived at our destination.
I've been MIA for the past few weeks.....and it's all because of school xD It's been about a week since break started and I cannot be happier. This semester was so ugghhhhh. I'm glad that it's almost over. I need a break from the world. I'm probably going to spend my month long winter break locked away in the comfort of my house, where I don't have to deal with school and annoying people...
During my absence, a lot has happened...no not really. I have a very boring life...and I find enjoyment in spending money. I've been doing so much shopping in the past two months, it's really bad. I'm supposed to be saving money for my trip to Korea in the summer and since October I haven't even saved half of my plane ticket price yet ㅠㅠ The plane ticket is only half of the problem...I still have to save some spending money. I only have ₩174,000 which isn't even $160! How am I supposed to survive two months in Korea with less than $200?! ㅠㅠ
It's actually either me or my family spending money. So much has been spent on me.....that I had to promise to start saving starting next month. It'll be like my New Years Resolution: STOP WASTING MONEY!! xDD
So the next few posts will be dedicated mainly to talk about some of the new things I got ;) I really got a lot of different things, ranging from dolls to makeup... It'll be fun to talk about it all ;)
I debated a long time about whether or not I should get a selfie stick. I love taking selfies and pictures in general, so the selfie stick seemed like a really good idea. What held me back from getting one right away was that using a selfie stick brings unnecessary attention to me. I want to take selfies in peace, not having to be conscious of other people staring. So after a long internal debate of whether or not I should get a selfie stick, I finally said "Why not?"
Usually, my Fridays are spent alone. Both my parents work and my brother goes to school, but today, both my parents had the day off and my brother had a half day. Since we had to go to Ktown for my brother's hair cut, we just decided to leave earlier and have some lunch before.
I requested to go to Little Tokyo, of course ;) I've been meeting to go for a while now because I wanted to buy new magazines. I spend so much money on Japanese fashion magazines but the problem is, I can't read them ㅠㅠ I can read Hiragana, Katakana and the very basic Kanji, but I don't know enough to actually read anything...
As promised, I'll be revealing what I got in the mail yesterday ;) It was the Belle & Snow White lipsticks from Etude House's Princess Happy Ending collection♡
Anybody who knows me knows, I don't wake up before 10am on weekends. I always have to wake up so early for class Mon-Thurs so the weekends are a time for me to catch up on my sleep. Today was an exception ;)
My family had decided that we'd go to IHOP for breakfast. So I woke up before 7 today....which is really a great accomplishment! It shows just how strong the power of good food is ;) kekeke
I originally had planned to go back to sleep when I got back home...but after eating such a great breakfast (which I didn't take pictures of because I dug in right away xD I was too hungry that I completely forgot), it was possible to go to sleep. I didn't have anything to do, so I decided to fix some of my desk decor.
I originally had a lot of yellow and pink post-its decorating my desk. They were ranged from random notes to reminders, but I realized that a lot of them were outdated. Most of them were reminders from high school, reminders to print out assignments for class the next morning or to call my college to schedule advisement...things that, as a sophomore in college, I didn't need anymore. So I just took them all off and threw them in the trash. Bye bye high school reminder post-its~ xD
While, I'm not new to the world of circle lenses, this is my first ever review. Yayyyy :D
I've only purchased circle lenses twice, and both times from the same place, Pinky Paradise. The first pairs of circle lenses I had bought were a bit too unique. Living in a predominantly Christian, Korean neighborhood, having grey and/or blue eyes stood out too much and I always got strange look -.-;; So this time around, I decided to go for a more natural look. I chose Vassen Rainbow Eyes Brownish Hazel. I had previously used the Grayish Blue lenses from the same brand and they were amazing. I was hoping that the Brownish Hazel were too.
Mondays are my least favorite days. I stayed up until midnight video chatting with a friend and I ended up getting less than 6 hours of sleep. Not only did I not get enough sleep last night...but I got a huge zit on my forehead ㅠㅠ I've been having skin problems since I got back from Korea and I've been breaking out a lot...
But ANYWAYS, I went to school half awake xD I only have two classes on Monday and Wednesdays, with a 2.5 hour gap between them and I had expected to just spend that time alone in the library, but nope! My friend came to visit me kehehehe :3
I really wasn't expecting any birthday gifts from my friends at college mainly because I just met most of my friends at the beginning of this school year...so it's only been a month and a half. But despite all that, one of my friends got me a small gift!
Hello everyone! Today is a very special day. Not only is it my 19th birthday, but it's the start of this blog!
I'd like to welcome you to 千里の道も一歩から ~♡
