Thanksgiving Weekend in Las Vegas (Day 1)

Saturday, December 27, 2014

It's been a month since Thanksgiving, but I finally got around to writing about my family vacation in Las Vegas.

After waking up early in the morning on the 28th of November, we set out on our long delayed family vacation. We were on the road for about 4.5 hours before we arrived at our destination.
We stayed at the Treasure Island hotel :) I don't know if it's because I haven't been to a decent hotel in a long time or if the hotel was just that amazing, but I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was a good, relaxing time.
Since we got to the hotel pretty early, we decided to go do some sightseeing around Las Vegas and the first place we went was the Grand Canal Shoppes.
Like most people, beautiful architecture always catches my attention...but I am a total sucker for European architecture. There's no doubt that the reason for that is because my childhood in Europe. Every time I go somewhere with European architecture, it takes me back.
I really want to go back to Europe....
Well, anyway, after an eventful morning, I got to meet up with a friend :DD One of my best friends from Japan <3
We just spent a lot of time catching up with each other, while eating yummy food. Katsudon for dinner,
Cheesecake on a stick for dessert :9
The rest of the night was spent just walking around the mall. There were so many people everywhere! It made everything much slower...and that's probably why I fell asleep pretty quickly that night xD
