Yesterday's Package: Princess Happy Ending

Monday, October 13, 2014

As promised, I'll be revealing what I got in the mail yesterday ;) It was the Belle & Snow White lipsticks from Etude House's Princess Happy Ending collection♡

I originally just wanted the Snow White one for two reasons. The first was because it was Snow White. She's my favorite princess and anything Snow White themed is beautiful in my eyes ;) The second reason was that I've always wanted to try red lipstick. I usually only use my vaseline lip therapy because I already have dark lips...and the few lip makeup products I have are all pink. I wanted to try something different.

Unfortunately, I found it difficult to find this lipstick, as it was so popular. I was able to find the Belle one at a number of different places, but the Snow White one was rare or overpriced. I finally found a decent priced one on Ebay. While I had the option to buy just one, I found that buying both lipsticks was a better deal than just buying one. So even though I just wanted the red one, I ended up getting the purple lipstick too ;)
My favorite thing about Etude House, after the super cute designs, is how generous they are when it comes to samples. Whenever I would shop in Etude House in Korea, there would always be a great amount of samples of their products. Sometimes they gave out so much that if I liked the product, I could live off of samples for a while before having to go buy the actual product xD I think it's a Korean thing. You get a lot of free things if you shop right ;)
I swear to you, I just fell in love. The packaging is just so pretty~ I almost spent $80+ because I was tempted to buy the whole Princess Happy Ending line! Etude House really does a good job with its packaging designs. I was willing to spend $80+ on makeup based solely on the packaging! I changed my mind right before I hit "checkout" xD
Just everything about these lipsticks is so pretty~ It almost makes me not want to use these...
But I did xD I used the purple one today~ I took this picture right before I took off my makeup. Because I didn't want to retouch it only to take it off, it is a bit faded compared to when I first put it on. I might do a review of it...I might not. I don't know yet. One thing's for sure, I like it! It's really nice, but I expected no less from Etude House. Not only are their products cute, they do what they're supposed to!
